So the reports were indeed true. Christian McCaffrey has played his last game at Stanford Stadium.
The Cardinal superstar confirmed his intentions to enter the 2017 NFL Draft on Wednesday morning with a tweet:
After three incredible years at Stanford, I've decided to enter the 2017 NFL draft. #BlessedByTheBest

McCaffrey’s last game for Stanford will be in the Sun Bowl against North Carolina on December 30.
Now, Stanford fans must wait to see if Solomon Thomas, the Cardinal’s standout defensive lineman, will also leave for the draft.
