According to Sports Illustrated’s Bruce Feldman, KJ Costello may be on the shelf for Stanford’s spring practice.
Stanford quarterback K.J. Costello is expected to be held out of full drills for spring football due to a hip injury, a source has told SI.
It’s not clear yet what exactly that means, though, including how serious the injury is or what reps exactly Costello could miss.
Keller Chryst has announced that he will transfer, so Stanford’s quarterback depth chart is only Davis Mills, a redshirt freshman who experienced a setback on an injured knee this fall, and Jack Richardson, a sophomore.
