3-point stance: Was it that no one out east saw Christian McCaffrey?

1. There’s a feeling at Stanford, and throughout the Pac-12, that they and their players get short shrift out on the West Coast. One of the prime reasons, they believe, is the last TV window – prime time out west, but late night in the Central and Eastern time zones. Stanford played six of its first eight games, and seven overall, after 10 p.m. Eastern. Christian McCaffrey gained almost as many all-purpose yards (1,923) in the seven games that no one east of Denver saw as Heisman winner Derrick Henry rushed for all season (1,986).
