Some of the biggest moves in college football became official on national signing day, like QB Arch Manning, the No. 2 recruit and nephew of Peyton and Eli, signing his national letter of intent to Texas.
But many top prospects ultimately flipped their commitments. No. 3 QB Dante Moore flipped his commitment from Oregon to UCLA right before the early signing period, and the Ducks responded by poaching an ESPN 300 quarterback of their own, flipping Austin Novosad from Baylor.
They weren't finished, either, flipping five-star safety Peyton Bowen and four-star running back Jayden Limar from Notre Dame and landing Matayo Uiagalelei, the ninth-rated defensive end in the class and the younger brother of former Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.
