The Stanford Cardinal have released the schedule for the 2019 season and it’s nothing short of exciting. The Cardinal are looking to go full steam ahead of is sure to be one of the toughest schedules in the country for next year. The home slate includes seven games.
New this year to scheduling in college football are the 14—not 13—total weeks, with two bye weeks available. Stanford’s bye weeks fall on Oct. 7 and Nov. 2.
The Cardinal open up on Aug. 31 at home, against this year’s Big Ten runner-up, the Northwestern Wildcats. The Cardinal will look to avenge the loss from the Wildcats in 2015.
