The 2016 football schedule for the Stanford Cardinal was released today and it certainly is an interesting one. The Cardinal will start the season on a Friday, September second on the Farm against Kansas State immediately followed by their off week the second week of the season which could prove costly down the stretch. Stanford will return to action on Saturday September 17th hosting USC followed by a trip to Los Angeles the following week to take on UCLA. Six days later for a Friday night game the Cardinal will play at Washington to close out the month of September.
