2016 four-star OL Ben Bredeson (Hartland, WI) has named Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Stanford as his top five schools he is currently interested in, but he doesn't have a favorite amongst those teams.
“It’s pretty close,” Bredeson said, via 247sports. “I can see myself going a few different ways. I got some general idea what I want in a school and the ones I still have, are the ones I can see myself at. It’s a close race. I don’t think there is necessarily a leader or lead group other than the ones we’ve talked about. I’m going to let it play out and see where it goes and the next round of visits will be key because that will probably be the last time I see each school before I commit and I want to make sure I’m making the right choice.”
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Bredeson is ranked as a top five offensive lineman in the country by several recruiting services. He hasn't set a date to visit Stanford yet, and said it probably won't come this spring because of the distance.
“Stanford is tough, logistically that’s far away and that one might have to wait till summer or fall,” Bredeson said. “I’ve been to Madison for games a few times this winter. I’m going to try to get to Michigan this spring, same thing with Notre Dame and Ohio State.”
