The Stanford Cardinal added another piece to their defensive puzzle on Sunday, garnering a commitment from three-star Maryville (TN) High School defensive end Dylan Jackson.

Jackson chose the Stanford Cardinal over the likes of Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, LSU and Alabama, and several others. The former Tennessee commit is just as intereste in picking up a quality education as he is continuing his football career at the collegiate level, so Stanford provided a natural fit.
From a football perspective, Jackson has the perfect type of frame for the Cardinal's 3-4 defense, standing at six-foot-six, 245 pounds with impressive length and solid quickness around the edge.
