Stanford Cardinal quarterback Kevin Hogan will have his swan song with the program next season, as he'll return to Palo Alto as a fifth-year senior.
Some of the guys I talked to said to rely on your gut and don’t make a decision you might regret down the road,” Hogan said via an article posted on the Stanford athletics website. “This is something I can’t regret. Coming back to Stanford really was a win-win situation for me. I’m happy, and I want to get back to work and get better.”

There was a report which is surfaced in late December that Hogan was considering playing for the Maryland Terrapins next season as a graduate transfer. However, that won't be the case as Hogan will finish off his collegiate playing eligibility under David Shaw at Stanford.
Hogan completed 65.9 percent of his passes for 2,792 yards with 19 touchdowns against eight interceptions in 2014, leading Stanford to an 8-5 record including a victory over the aforementioned Maryland Terrapins in the Foster Farms Bowl.
