Yesterday, Rawlings announced the finalists for its 2015 Gold Glove Awards. Two Cardinals made the list this year.
Yadier Molina will be attempting to claim his eighth consecutive gold glove award dating back to 2008. This year, Yadi is tied for fourth among all qualified catchers, and tied for first in the National League in the defensive component of fWAR with 10.9. Despite suffering a late-season thumb injury, Yadi ranks second among all catchers in games played at 134 and in innings at 1149 and two-thirds, trailing only Kansas City's own workhorse behind the plate, Salvador Perez.
