Wong rests as Munoz goes to 2B, O'Neill to RF

DETROIT • Second baseman Kolten Wong, who dazzled defensively and also contributed offensively on Friday, will sit out Saturday night’s start against the Detroit Tigers as Cardinals manager Mike Shildt tries to avoid playing Wong three days in a row after he just has come off the disabled list (strained left hamstring).

Versatile Yairo Munoz, who started in right field on Friday, will be at second base, with Tyler O’Neill taking over in right field and hitting third against Tigers lefthander Matthew Boyd.
