St. Louis Cardinals Outfielder Willie McGee, #51
Willie McGee was a player with many fans, but a man of few words during his career with the St. Louis Cardinals.
So that raises the curiosity quotient now that word has spread that "No. 51" will be the keynote speaker Nov. 9 at the annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes St. Louis Dinner Gala at the Frontenac Hilton.
Former Redbird hurler and Rick Horton also will talk at the event, as will several student athletes. Horton is now a Fox Sports Midwest broadcaster.
