Wacha gives lead right back after Fowler homers

The first hit Michael Wacha gave up on Wednesday afternoon was a solo home run in the fourth inning.

After retiring the first 10 batters he'd faced, Wacha allowed a homer to Pirates first baseman Josh Bell to almost straightaway center, which tied the game at 1-1. Bell's blast was his first of the season and just the fourth of his career.

Wacha was able to navigate the rest of the fourth inning though. He walked Gregory Polanco but got two soft flyouts to center field.
