JUPITER, Fla. – The Palm Beach Cardinals (6-3) fell to Charlotte Stone Crabs, 10 – 4, in the first game of a three game series at Roger Dean Stadium. The Cardinals, who were coming off a four game sweep in Lakeland over the Tigers, were unable to keep their hot streak alive. Palm Beach began to work their way back into the game in the final two innings, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Charlotte’s large lead. In the loss, Luke Voit hit his first home run of the season and collected two RBI on the day.
