PITTSBURGH •Cardinals rookie Sam Tuivailala, just up from Memphis where he started his day at 5:30 a.m. was very impressive for the Cardinals in the 12th and 13th, setting down all six Pittsburgh Pirates hitters Saturday night as the teams battled into the 14th inning still tied at 4-4.
REYNOLDS HOMERS AGAIN, BUCS CATCH UP
Mark Reynolds, who hit the first homer of the night after the Pirates had thought he struck out, hit another homer, a drive to left on an 0-2 pitch from Deolis Guerra to give the Cardinals a 4-3 lead in the 10th inning Saturday night after the Cardinals royally had messed up a bunt play.
