Game7 of the World Series; it does not get any better.
On Monday I wrote about how no World Series has had the home team lose every game. Tonight could change that. The road team has won the last three World Series deciders. Tonight could change that. With the series tied 3-3 the Washington Nationals take on the Houston Astros for a deciding Game 7. Max Scherzer will take the mound against Zack Greinke. It is exciting stuff.
Wednesday evening’s game marks the 40th time the World Series has gone to a deciding game*. Of those 40, the Cardinals have played in 11 of them, going 8-3.
