The St. Louis Cardinals have selected OF Trejyn Fletcher with the 58th pick of the MLB Draft. Fletcher is a prep outfielder out of Deering High School in Maine. Fletcher was originally supposed to be in the 2020 MLB Draft, but reclassified to the 2019 MLB Draft.
Fletcher is known for his speed and ability in the field and has been called one of the best pure athletes in the draft, but he still is a very raw hitter, and it could be a while before he is even close to ready for Major League Baseball.
