2018 has been an interesting year for the men wearing the Birds on the Bat, at least for home games. So far this season, the Cardinals have a .600 win percentage at home, winning eighteen games and losing twelve. Seven of those eighteen wins have come via walkoff. I am not entirely sure what that means for the team, if anything at all. In order to have a walkoff win, the home team must be either losing to or tied with the away team in the bottom of the ninth or later. Ideally, the preferred way to win is outright.
