Talk about March madness ... Fowler homers twice, Ozuna once in Cards' first three innings

Ozuna, batting .156, hit a cue shot double past the Yankees’ first baseman in the first and, in left field, made a running catch to his right to end the New York second. His homer was third extra-base hit of the spring.

Carpenter, besides playing Sunday, is a strong possibility to remain behind and take multiple at-bats in minor-league games on Monday, as will infielder Jedd Gyorko, who has been out three weeks with a strained right calf. Gyorko, however, is unlikely to be on the opening-day roster because he has been out so long.
