When starting the 2015 season, most of what Class AA Springfield reliever Jordan Swagerty valued as a baseball player had changed.
Currently, he’s not focusing too heavily on the future. He’s relishing the time he spends with his teammates more than ever. He’s cherishing the opportunity to step on the field as a professional baseball player.
“It’s those kinds of things that I’m starting to take with me and enjoy,” Swagerty said. “I’m looking at the smaller picture of things, not just the general picture.”
For Swagerty, 25, it’s a different perspective than his previous one.
