As we all know, the world of social media can often be a negative and challenging adventure. We can’t always be certain who’s actually on the other side of that Twitter handle, which can lead to some unpleasant experiences.
I’ve had my fair share of these, from the sporadic verbal attack to some people flat out lying about who they are. However, this summer has shown me Twitter can also be a wonderful tool to meet new people who share similar passions, such as sports, and, of course, the STL Cardinals.
