St. Louis Cardinals' three pinch-hit home runs set MLB record in win over Atlanta Braves

ATLANTA -- The St. Louis Cardinals became the first team in major league history to record three pinch-hit home runs in a game during their 7-4 win over the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field on Friday night.

Rookies Jeremy Hazelbaker and Aledmys Diaz and utility man Greg Garcia all hit pinch-hit solo home runs in the final three innings against Atlanta. The last team to hit two pinch-hit home runs in a game was the 2011 Detroit Tigers.

The Cardinals had four pinch-hit home runs all of last season.
