The Memphis Redbirds- the AAA team in the St. Louis Cardinals organization- had several players representing the organization in the AAA All-Star game and while they were impressive (see Joshua’s piece), the Redbirds decided to kick off the second half of their season in an equally impressive manner.
The Redbirds opened the second half of the AAA season in Omaha, NE facing off against the Royals’ AAA team. This game took place on Thursday night and had saw the St. Louis Cardinals AAA players smack 15 hits.
