Less than two months ago, the St. Louis Cardinals selected outfielder Kevin Woodall Jr. in the 10th round (303rd overall) of the MLB Draft. Woodall Jr. was known for his power, as he mashed 18 home runs and 60 RBIs during his senior season, which led the Sun Belt conference in both stats.
So far for the Rookie Ball affiliate Johnson City Cardinals, he has been spectacular, but tonight might be a night that Woodall Jr. will never forget.
In the first inning, Woodall Jr. mashed a homer to right center field, which would also bring in lead-off hitter Brandon Riley.
