For the third time this season, Dakota Hudson has thrown eight or more innings. This time, they were shutout innings. He allowed only four hits while striking out six batters. The only blemish was four walks, which is clearly less than ideal.
I wrote recently that we should be excited about Hudson. Believe me or not, this outing is not just a glimpse of what he can do. This outing is consistent with what he has done all year. His 2.18 ERA is leading the PCL this year.
