FOUR PITCHERS TO MAKE SPRING DEBUTS
Righthander Dakota Hudson, who is getting a shot at the starting job vacated, temporarily, by Carlos Martinez, will open, to be followed by lefthander Austin Gomber, who made 11 starts last year and was 6-2 overall. Hudson, the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year, was in the Cardinals’ bullpen for the last couple of months of the season in which he did not allow a home run while facing 118 batters.
