Bob Childers, 77, of Collinsville -- "Bleacher Bob" to the strangers who became friends over more than 20 years of bleacher sitting and Redbird rooting -- died Thursday of complications from pneumonia, his younger brother said. He is survived by his wife, Diane, and six children.
