Blue Jays righthander Marcus Stroman has faced nine batters and thanks to a double play he's faced the minimum through three innings against the Caridnals at Montreal's Olympic Stadium. Stroman started a routine double play against Tommy Pham to get Fowler off the bases, too. Stroman then struck out Matt Carpenter to end the first inning, and he got Marcell Ozuna swinging to start the second inning. Through three innings, Stroman has yet to allow a fly ball.
Michael Wacha has kept pace, but he's had to tiptoe around trouble, vs. keeping a lineup grounded. In each of his first two innings, Wacha has allowed a double.
