CINCINNATI • Alberto Rosario, who handled Jaime Garcia the last time Yadier Molina had a day off, will do again Saturday as Garcia tries for his 11th win and Rosario tries to throw out Cincinnati speedster Billy Hamilton, who has 14 steals against the Cardinals this season, including three on Friday.
Garcia, 11-4 in his career against the Reds, will be facing a lineup without second baseman Brandon Phillips, who was scratched after he fouled a ball off his foot on Friday. When the Reds won 3-2 in the ninth inning in the first game of the series, it was the third time they had won in the bottom of the ninth inning against the Cardinals this season.
