A few days after placing Marcell Ozuna on the disabled list the Cardinals are starting, in earnest, their rotation of left fielders. Yairo Munoz started there Wednesday. Tyler O'Neill moves there for Friday's series opener at Coors Field. Matt Adams and Jose Martinez could also see starts there, though it's more likely the Cardinals will keep Martinez in right field, where he'll start Friday.
At the same time the Cardinals lost their middle-order left fielder, the Rockies added a new one. Well, an old one. No a new-old one. Well, you get the idea. As I type this, Matt Holliday is taking BP on the field at Coors and doing what's been known to do there -- planting baseballs in the left-field seats.
