- Greetings from Carlsbad, Calif, location of this year's GM Meetings. The meetings don't officially start until Tuesday -- at least when it comes to media events. There are, however, already meetings going on. This is a day when arbitration is discussed, for example. A majority of the representatives the Cardinals' front office is expected to send is already in the area, setting up for the meetings.
