Piscotty HR puts Cards ahead 3-2

Stephen Piscotty ripped his fifth homer of the season, a first-pitch drive to right center in the third inning, as the Cardinals took their first lead at 3-2 over the Pittsburgh Pirates Saturday at Busch Stadium.

Piscotty’s homer came after Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright, appearing to find his groove, had set down six hitters in succession, striking out three of them.
