For openers, it’s the Cardinals and Pirates.
The Redbirds will be in the national spotlight Sunday, as they play in Major League Baseball’s first regular-season game of the season when they meet the Pirates in Pittsburgh. It’s the first of three MLB games that day, all to be televised across the country by ESPN or ESPN2.
Fox Sports Midwest also shows the Cards-Pirates contest regionally (12:05 p.m. St. Louis time) and because there will be no local blackout of the ESPN telecast, fans in St. Louis will have their choice of productions to watch.
FSM’s feed has Dan McLaughlin on play-by-play and Al Hrabosky as the analyst, with Jim Hayes reporting.
