Pham's home run in ninth big lift for Cards

Of all the things Tommy Pham has been able to do for the Cardinals this season, when he stood on deck in the ninth inning Saturday he was reminded of the one thing he hasn’t done in his career.

Not since Low-A, years ago, had he hit a walk-off home run.

Pham’s two-run homer in the ninth inning completed the Cardinals’ comeback, papered-over a missed chance in the eighth, and gave him the walk-off in a 6-4 victory against Tampa Bay. The Cardinals scored all six runs in the final four innings, and Pham scored three of them.
