CHICAGO -- Shortly before the start of the Cardinals' series opener against the White Sox on Tuesday, outfielder Tommy Pham was scratched from the lineup, two days after fouling a ball off his left ankle and leaving during the seventh inning of a game against the Giants with a bone bruise.
X-rays taken Sunday on Pham's ankle came back negative. Pham had been slated to play center field and hit second. He was replaced by Yairo Munoz, who is batting eighth.
