ST. LOUIS -- The temperature was about 40 degrees warmer, but the opponent was the same when Tommy Pham's right groin tightened up on him for the second time this season.
Pham was lifted in the second inning of Saturday's game against the Cubs after a recurrence of the injury, which caused him to miss several games last month.
Harrison Bader pinch-hit for Pham and replaced him in center field.
Pham was removed after appearing to approach an Anthony Rizzo bloop single in front of him gingerly a half inning before.
