ST. LOUIS -- Marcell Ozuna was removed in the fifth inning Thursday afternoon with discomfort in one of his left toes, according to the club. The Cardinals trailed the Rockies, 2-1, when Ozuna left the game.
Yairo Munoz replaced Ozuna in left, moving from shortstop.
The Cardinals outfielder made an impressive throw to nab Carlos Gonzalez running to third in the fourth inning. Ozuna was 0-for-2 at the plate.
