When Cardinals owner Bill DeWitt Jr. speaks, the baseball world listens. He is one of the most respected owners in baseball, whether with fellow owners or his team’s fans.
In an era when some teams have tanked their way to the top, including the rival Cubs, the Cardinals have remained perennial powers while refusing to sacrifice seasons along the way.
