First pitch is scheduled for 3:15 p.m., following hours of festivities that start as early as 9:30 a.m. at Ballpark Village.
Jayson Gosselin, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service office in Weldon Spring, said rain should start about midnight Wednesday and continue throughout the day, moving out between 4 and 7 p.m.
Yet over that 18-hour period, the rain will be so light that Gosselin expects accumulation to be under a half inch. Forecasters expect it to be three-tenths to four-tenths of an inch of rain.
On a positive note, Thursday won't be cold. The high will be around 60 degrees, Gosselin said.
