ST. LOUIS • The Cardinals won't be going to arbitration again this year.
The team said Friday it has signed all four of its arbitration-eligible players - Brandon Moss, Trevor Rosenthal, Seth Maness and Matt Adams - to one-year deals.
Hours before exchanging salaries with the veteran the Cardinals believe could be a factor at first base for them this season, the team and Moss agreed to a one-year, $8.25-million deal.
The contract, finalized Friday, will allow the team to avoid arbitration with Moss, who would have received the highest salary of the four Cardinals eligible.
