NL playoff chase? TV instead gives us Yankees-Red Sox

Nonetheless, ESPN shows that matchup at 6:10 p.m. Friday and TBS has it at 2:05 p.m. Sunday. Plus Fox is sending it to about a quarter of the nation on Saturday.

ESPN is bypassing two NL teams in the postseason picture — Milwaukee (against Detroit) and Colorado (against Washington) — in the early Friday night time slot, though those contests begin about an hour after the epic East Coast battle starts.
