MINNEAPOLIS • Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak said he was unaware of any member of his front office potentially hacking another team's database until he heard from federal investigations about the alleged breach.
Mozeliak stated that Wednesday evening at Target Field, where he met with the media for his first comments to the local media about an FBI and Justice Department investigation into whether Cardinals officials hacked the Houston Astros' baseball operations database.
Mozeliak stated plainly that he did not know of the alleged hack until investigators first notified the Cardinals and began making requests.
