Apparently, it felt so good on Tuesday night, Brandon Moss decided to do it again.
The walk-off home run hero in Tuesday's 8-5 win over Washington hit his second homer in as many at-bats, giving the Cardinals a 1-0 lead in the second inning against the Nationals Wednesday at Busch Stadium.
Acquired from Cleveland on July 30, Moss blasted his 19th home run overall and fourth in seven games for the Cardinals off Washington starter Max Scherzer. The drive landed deep into the right-field bleachers beyond the bullpen and was estimated to travel 454 feet.
That makes it the longest home run ever hit by a lefthanded batter at Busch Stadium, the fifth longest home run at the ballpark overall.
