Suffice to say, the rain has given the Giants some problems in the field.
With one out in the bottom of the sixth, Jedd Gyorko hit a fly ball to the warning track that seemingly should have been caught. However, Giants right fielder Mac Williamson misjudged the ball, and as it bounced away Gyorko slid safely into third for his second triple of the season fourth.
Two triples in a season is a new career high for Gyorko. He now has four total over four-plus years.
The next batter, Yadier Molina, drove home Gyorko with a double, fittingly doubling the Cardinals' lead to 2-0.
