CHICAGO • The Cardinals lineup certainly won't be the most interesting thing that comes out of the clubhouses on the morning after Joe Maddon compared the Cardinals to "vigilantes," but it's not without intrigue.
First, the obvious: Yadier Molina is back after his break.
Next, the less so: Brandon Moss sits.
Moss had three of the Cardinals' five hits on Friday afternoon, and two of them were doubles. But with the Cubs predictably offering up lefty Travis Wood as a spot starter Saturday the Cardinals have veered to a more righthanded-laden lineup. Mark Reynolds, for example, is at first base.
