High-A Palm Beach starting pitcher Luke Weaver pitched six scoreless innings and allowed just two hits in his team's 2-0 victory over Charlotte on Wednesday.
Weaver, a 2014 first-round pick out of Florida State University, didn't walk any batters and struck out six. He possesses a 1.95 earned-run average.
Wednesday's win puts Weaver at 5-5 on the season. It was his fourth scoreless outing of the season.
