Class AA Springfield catcher Mike Ohlman slugged his 11th home run of the season in his team's 6-2 loss to Tulsa on Monday. That mark leads all Texas League catchers.
In addition to his solo shot, Ohlman, who is on the Cardinals' 40-man roster, also notched an RBI double and another base hit as well.
Ohlman was drafted in the 11th round by the Baltimore Orioles in 2009. In his first season in the Cardinals organization, he is hitting .297 with 56 RBIs and an OPS of .849.
