Class AAA Memphis second baseman Dean Anna accounted for two hits and two runs in Tuesday night’s 6-4 loss to Nashville. He also walked once.
The performance was a bright spot for the Redbirds, who struggled offensively, and for Anna, a 2008 26th-round pick originally taken by the San Diego Padres. He was hitting .223 going into Tuesday night.
Here’s how last night’s slate of games went for the Cardinals’ minor league affiliates:
Nashville 6, Class AAA Memphis 4
