Cardinals starter Michael Wacha completed six innings having only allowed two runs to the visiting Toronto Blue Jays.
It was another strong outing for Wacha, as he has not allowed more than three runs in any of his first four starts this season. Relief pitcher Matt Bowman came in for Wacha, hitting sixth, while Jose Martinez replaced Matt Adams at first base batting ninth.
Wacha will not have an opportunity for a win, however, as he left the game in a 2-2 tie. Since the Cardinals loaded the bases in the fourth inning, they have just one hit -- a sixth-inning double off the bat of Stephen Piscotty.
