But two weeks ago all that came to an abrupt halt. He was dismissed in what on the air was attributed to a coronavirus-caused economic downturn at Hubbard Radio, which owns the station. It was a huge jolt for a guy who hadn't been out of work in his 40 years in the media, 26 with the Post-Dispatch before moving full time to radio in 2015.
